Anna OLSZEWSKA
1943 - 2000
Graduate (1970) of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She gained her first artistic experience in England. She has had numerous exhibitions and plein-air paintings in America, Europe and Japan. Her paintings are in the collections of the Imperial Court in Japan, Lech Walesa, Ewa Curie, Oriana Fallaci, Robert De Niro, Jan Karski, among others. The theme of her paintings is mainly landscapes expressing her love of nature, its beauty and tranquility, and her love of rest and travel. Her work is a reference to the traditions of Impressionism, Post-Impressionism and Colorism.
