Danish painter. He trained at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen (1893). Known for his series of romantic landscapes throughout Denmark. Beck traveled and worked throughout Europe - he visited Italy in 1908-1920, the Netherlands in 1913 and Germany in 1922-1937. His works are characterized by precise details and bright colors. Beck carefully selected outdoor locations and tried to capture all the beauty of the place he saw.
