In 1970, she graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts with a degree in Conservation Techniques and Technologies of Fine Arts at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun. In 1986-92 she was a member of the Warsaw Realist Group. In addition to her professional activity in the field of art conservation, in parallel she painted constantly taking part in plein-air and group exhibitions.
