Silesian painter and printmaker. He initially studied at the Royal Breslau School of Fine Arts (1903-1908) under Carl E. Morgenstern. He then continued his studies at an academy in Berlin. From 1924 he lived in Jelenia Gora, where his jubilee exhibition was organized in 1940. After 1946, he moved to Germany. He was a member of the St. Luke's Artists Association in Szklarska Poreba. His works are in the collections of museums in Wroclaw and Jelenia Gora and in German museums.
