Sergei Semenovich Ворошилов
before 1865 after 1911
Russian painter, animalist. Graduate of the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. Member of the "Sreda" art circle. Almost all their work was devoted to depicting hunting and horses. At the beginning of the 20th century, he took part in the autumn exhibitions of the Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara and Irkutsk. Reproductions of the artist's works appeared in the leading magazines of the Russian Empire: "Niva", "Iskra", "Rodina" and on postcards.
