Wladyslaw Pyzykowski studied at the drawing school of Pius Welonski, as well as the Warsaw School of Fine Arts under the direction of Milosz Kotarbinski. He also took private lessons from Wojciech Kossak. In 1930 he received the first prize at an exhibition at the Zachęta Gallery of Art. In addition to painting pictures, he was professionally engaged in designing furniture.
Jozef Julian Lasoń - literary, legionary and officer of the Second Republic of Poland, commander (XI.44-V.45) of the 1st Independent Women's Battalion named after Emilia Plater.
