Vessel for fragrances. On the front wall decorated with a reserve with a depiction painted in the manner à la Watteau, typical of the 3rd quarter of the 18th century. It shows a company dressed in shepherd's outfits, sitting by the river in the park engaged in fishing. A bouquet of flowers is painted on the back wall in reserve. Both the vivid colors and the virtuoso painting of the graceful figures, as well as the detailed elaboration of the details, are excellent examples of the Berlin label's highest level. The modeler's work is equally beautiful. The delicate thin petals of the flowers, the decorative heads of the goats, or the ethereal sash encircling the entire vessel betray the hand of an expert modeler.
